Before implying complicity of currupted Brazilians, there are ignorance, indifference, allienation and greed.

(American indigenous people welcomed early invasors, even helping them to find the land richness: gold and copper and absolutely, that doesn’ t mean that they were taking advantage of it!)

I tell my fellow countrymen and foreign acquaintances try to see beyond that images shown by the powerful media; be suspicious, skeptical not be naïve; there is too much pressure on this vast and rich land. That’s my message.
Public misinformation is the word.

The rancher, the big farmer, the logger, the land grabber, the big investor and shareholder, the squatter, the huge international mining companies, multinational cosmetical and pharmaceutical industries (with biopiracy), hunters in search of exotic animals are the great menaces : the greatest 21st century gold diggers.
